Jeff Belanger goes Behind the Zine to sit down with the authors of the latest issue of Shadow Zine to discuss their work and life. In #ShadowZine Issue 4, Greg Lawson explores the haunts and ghosts of Mineral Wells, Texas, including the Baker Hotel and the Haunted Hill House. Crazy Woman’s Well was drilled in 1885. The small town boomed on healing mineral waters. The Baker Hotel accommodated countless tourists who flocked here to get healthy or die trying. After the feds shut them down, a profound haunting followed. In our chat, Greg also discusses his career in the military and law enforcement and how he utilizes those skills in his research into the unexplained.

Hometown Ghost Stories: Overnight at the Driskill Hotel ft. Jeff Belanger

Austin, Texas, is a city with a haunted location on just about every corner, but the most haunted building in town is the infamous Driskill Hotel. Looming tall on the corner of 6th and Brazos, this 19th century Romanesque hotel is home to countless spirits; and we had a chance to visit in person and stay on the most haunted floor to see if we could connect with the dead.
