DESCRIPTION:Speak Easy Story Night is a new storytelling event and podcast created and hosted by Jeff Belanger and Mike Hsu. Storytellers are invited to come out and share their stories on stage. Each storyteller has 5 minutes with the mic. No note cards\, no reading\, just raw\, true stories. If you need help\, you can opt for an interview format where Jeff or Mike will join you on stage and ask questions to help draw out your story. Each night features a theme to be your guiding star\, but don’t get too hung up on making your story fit. We’ll record the stories and create an on-going podcast where we can connect with people from all walks of life. \nWe’ve all been HUNGRY at some point. Maybe you experience food insecurity\, maybe you had the munchies and the lengths you went through to satisfy them could be made into a 3-hour epic movie directed by James Cameron. Or maybe you were hungry for something else: success\, a win in a game\, or for some other object of your desire.
